Daughters of Atlas is a magical girl inspired comic that follows the struggles of a young lady named Cristy as she deals with the consequences of new found power from a past life. She discovers that she is a gem holder, a mortal that walks upon the earth holding the power of ancient gods. In Issue # 2, Cristy's study abroad trip ended in tragedy and confusion after her best friend, Reika, was kidnaped by a mysterious woman. That alone would be enough emotional trauma, but something strange happened to Cristy during her encounter. She was thrown into a world of magic and mayhem and now must try to make sense of it while also proving that her friend was taken. Meanwhile, Reika wakes up in a strange new place, and her kidnapper seems to have more complex motives.
